Our Vocational School held a seminar on November 29, 2024, coordinated by Lecturer Büşra ŞEN AVCU, aimed at Culinary Program students. The seminar titled "Professional Knife Training" was presented by PİRGE Academy Corporate Training Specialist Fırat Erbil. During the event, comprehensive information was shared on topics such as the introduction of Pirge Knife company's products and production processes, basic knives and equipment used in the kitchen, color coding in accordance with HACCP food regulations, knife sharpening and honing rod usage, correct knife selection, pastry equipment, and knife maintenance. Students who correctly answered questions during the seminar were awarded a chef's knife.
